A complement doesn't solve everything, and haven't you ever been in a bad mood? *Delphi points out in defence of her half of the species, she doesn't even bother saying the phrase pms which would cause monthly grumpyness in men too if they had to deal with it.*

*Del looks at the wall and winces,* Late, very late which is why we're getting testy. I've got to go to bed, I have class tomorrow, lucky not early. Of course it isn't like I've been sleeping well lately so what is the point? *Del says, obviously worn out and run down.*

I should probably go to my own bed then . . . *Delphi says knowing it is what she should do but not really wanting to. She prefers even an emotionall distraught Siren to any empty room lately.*

Siren sighs. "...Yeah. I guess. I mean- It's up to you and all..." He says, slightly sadly. He wants her to do well, and he knows she needs to sleep for that... but he want's so badly to be around her when he's upset like how he is. Unfortunately, being as she's an empath, that's really the exact opposite of what should happen.
"So- goodnight, then..."

He comes up behind her, and hugs her tight, and whispers, "..thankyou.." in her ear, before loosening his grasp, and letting one hand find hers, as they walk to her room.
